Pre-promotional Supervisor Training
(PST)
The PST program is design to help
develop internal promotion candidates into Swift Supervisors.
Candidates for this program must have at least 6 months tenure
with Swift & Company®, an excellent safety
record and may be nominated by existing Swift management.
The goal of
the
PST program is to expose internal non-exempt hourly workers
to all areas of management within Swift. Not only does this
allow the candidate to comprehend all areas of the business – but
it allows him or her to receive an in-depth exposure to
all aspects of the expectations and requirements of a supervisor
before accepting the promotion.

are not limited to:
• Operations Management- all areas
from “live
to box”
• Human Resources Administration
• Policy and Procedures
• Employee Relations
• Payroll Administration
• Labor Management
• Health and Safety
• Leadership Training
• Team Building
